10-7-23 plein air watercolor 1
3:27 PM: this afternoon was such gorgeous weather, i decided to go out to the creek with my watercolors. it was hugely refreshing to be out painting plein air after such a long break! i had my usual bumbling-fumbling that happens when you’re trying to have your palette & colors close at hand, sit as comfortably as possible on a little 3 legged stool & stay out of direct sunlight. in addition, a newly married young couple & their friends decided that was the perfect place to shoot video. but i didn’t let that stop me from painting!
