prade 28 tweaks today/rembrandt's artist in his studio / by Philip Tarlow

parade 28 at the end of my work day

3:52PM UPDATE: so i tweaked and i tweaked....until my eyes became tired and i stopped. besides, i have to prepare for our trip tomorrow. what do you think?? i believe it improved, but i won't know till i walk into the studio friday morning. below, a few details.

12:57 pm update: i'm working on the all important tweaks to parade 28. i'll post an image once they're further along.

it occurred to me this morning, as i looked through the poetry of everyday life: dutch painting in boston, by ronni baer, that while we're in great barrington visiting with our friends doug & terry in late june, we could easily drive to boston, about 2:20 drive, and visit the great museums. this magnificent rembrandt is in the museum of fine arts. i haven't seen it for decades, and this alone would be reason enough to make the drive!
