i received a call from ben, owner of our local grocery store. he said representatives from the colorado arts district program would be coming to crestone in 2 days to check out the scene and put us in the running to become one of the state sponsored arts districts, giving us access to state funding. he wanted to know if i could put together a small exhibition of work in 48 hours. i said "sure!"
all for a good cause.
so below are some shots of art amongst the groceries. one might say it's a refreshing change from the sterile atmosphere of most galleries.
