2:04 pm update: i kept breaking away from transferring the drawing to the canvas to work more on the collage i re-engaged with yesterday: something. today's version is on the left. i think it's improved. i love going back and forth from a realist perspective to abstraction. as i've said many times, they essentially are the same.
i am transferring the drawing to the canvas; a somewhat time consuming process. yesterday afternoon mikela and i sat in our east living room drinking port and watching the mountains go from pale pink to deep red. here's what it looked like:
