i began work on this latest best left unsaid painting this morning. this is where it's at right now: 12:12 pm.
1:01pm: the current state of best left unsaid 11 is below. i love this stage, where the "empty" space in the painting is pregnant with possibility. so as i suggested yesterday, i'm now going out to paint plein air at the creek, and will continue work on this one tomorrow. i'll try and post the plein air work before we have to leave for alamosa, where a good friend is being honored at an evening event. going out to the creek, especially in this transitional season, where the temperatures are getting chillier and ice has formed on the branches overhanging the creek, is a bit more of an adventure than usual.
